About Better you Club

Better You Club was created because so many women want to start their fitness journey but genuinely don’t know how. Gyms feel intimidating. The space is male dominated. And most women walk in already feeling judged before they even begin. That fear alone is enough to hold people back, and it keeps so many women from ever experiencing what their bodies are capable of.

I understand that feeling deeply. I know what it’s like to want something for yourself but not know where to start or how to stay consistent. I know what it’s like to feel unseen, to doubt yourself, and to think everyone else has it figured out except you. That feeling stays with you, and it shapes the way you approach your health. Better You Club is here to change that.

This space was created to feel like a second family. A place where women feel safe, supported, guided, and understood. A place where you don’t have to pretend or prove anything. Where you can learn, grow, and take care of yourself without pressure. A place that feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely exciting to be part of.

What makes Better You Club different is the intention behind it. This is not just a fitness community with workouts and nutrition tips. It is something built with care, purpose, and heart. I’m passionate about this because I know how life changing it is when fitness finally feels simple and sustainable. When you stop punishing your body and start appreciating what it can do. When you understand your cravings instead of feeling guilty. When you stop feeling lost and start feeling capable.

My promise with Better You Club is to help women rebuild their relationship with fitness and with themselves. To help them understand their bodies, feel more confident, and actually look forward to moving in a way that feels good. To build habits they can maintain. To feel proud of the effort they put in. And to finally experience fitness in a way that feels empowering, not overwhelming.

Better You Club is here to support every woman who wants to feel strong, capable, and at home in her body, and to show her she never had to do it alone.

About Me

Hey, I’m Daniella.

I grew up loving sports and being active. I tried almost everything, from swimming to gymnastics, but if I wasn’t instantly good at something, I would give up. Perfection was the only way I felt I could succeed, and when I couldn’t reach it, I felt like I had failed. By the time I reached high school, this mindset had started to affect my relationship with food and exercise. I stopped playing sports, and I began going to the gym in a way that felt more like punishment than care. Around that time, I struggled with binge eating and disordered habits. I was constantly frustrated with my body and with myself.

When I was in matric, my mom passed away. That same year, I found the gym again, hoping it could be a place of focus and control, but at first it didn’t change much. I was still battling my own patterns. I tracked my food obsessively, I felt anxious about how I looked, and I didn’t really know how to take care of myself in a healthy way. Over time, I began to figure things out. I learned to focus on my body as a whole. I started thinking about my mind, my spirit, and the way my body moved, rather than just how it looked. Exercise became something I did for care instead of punishment. I began to understand that food is meant to fuel and nourish, not control or shame.

Through this journey, I realized that fitness and wellness are not about extremes, quick fixes, or following trends. They are about understanding your body, building confidence in yourself, and finding a way to move and eat that actually fits your life. I learned that it is the small, consistent steps, done with knowledge and care, that truly make a difference. Confidence grows when you understand what you are doing, when you trust your body, and when you learn that the gym is not a place to fear, but a space to claim for yourself.

Outside of fitness, I am a creative person at heart. I love making things, whether it’s through art, design, fashion, or anything that lets me express myself and bring ideas to life.

Becoming a better you, to me, is not just about how you look or perform. It is about discovering the version of yourself you have imagined but never thought was possible. It is about learning to listen to your body, to care for it, and to give yourself permission to grow without judgment. It is about feeling confident in your own skin, knowing that your worth is not measured by a number or an image, and embracing the journey, with all its ups and downs, as part of becoming stronger, happier, and more whole. Every step, every small win, every lesson along the way is what shapes you. And that is what makes this journey meaningful.
